Mystery at Locust Grove A short film showcasing historical Locust Grove
Logline:Five precocious Pendleton kids attempt to track down a treasure they believe Lewis and Clark discovered on their expedition out west and brought home to Kentucky. Synopsis:It isn't so much that Scott doesn't like history, it's just that he's more interested in how the buildings might be demolished than any historical significance they might hold. His opinion of history takes a drastic turn, however, when he and his older brother, James, discover a cryptic set of letters and numbers carved into the molding over one of the doors in the Locust Grove house in Louisville, KY. Excited, they recruit their older sister, Rachel, to decipher what they believe is a clue, and their younger siblings, Matthew and Lydia, to help search for the next clue. The Pendleton kids bring history to the present in their search for what they believe could be a lost treasure from Lewis and Clark's expedition out west. This short film explores Locust Grove and champions family unity. Script Length: 18 pages. Characters:
