Granville, Ohio shooting location
My name is Christian Ambrose. I'm a cinema major at Denison University and in pre-production for my final senior film, tentatively titled "Playing House." The film will be screened in the Denison Film Festival this April, and I plan to submit it various film festivals. As this is a student film, it's a non-paid project.
The shooting schedule is still being set. Currently, principal photography will take place February 22-28 and March 29 - April 4. There may be some pick-ups and retakes in mid-April as well. Overall, there will be roughly six days of shooting spread out over those weeks, running 6 - 8 hours each day, with a couple of short days as well. Exact shooting dates and times will depend on and accommodate cast's availability. Most locations will be in and around Granville, Ohio.
Synopsis: On a whim, two grad students (Lucas and his girlfriend, Madison) go into an open house, where they pose as newlyweds looking to buy their first home. As they look at the house they argue with each other, and we see flashbacks to key moments in their relationship and the unresolved fight they had that morning. Ultimately, they must confront their differing hopes for and fears about the future, and reevaluate their relationship.
