While big names are often used to attract people to watch the movie, the reality is that whether its a big dollar production or a small-budget independent film, extras are a necessity to round out the cast of a film.  The roles for extras are diverse and in some movies, plentiful.

Hi everyone! As a special effects artist, I think I can put this discussion to rest. I have listed a few blood recipes below, these are the ones I use most commonly. Also as a quick aside, your best bet is to not put dish washing soap into any blood you are going to use in someone's mouth, so if you are worried about ruining your carpet, don't shoot by it. Even though the soap will make it easier to clean up, it will add a level of toxicity. Soap is not healthy to ingest, so keep it out. Fake blood is going to stain, just like real blood stains. With that in mind, on to the goods.
