The play adroitly explores relationships between men and women in their golden years, as well as how the invisible ties of family often tie our hearts harder and faster than any love affair. A tale that mixes heartbreak with its humor and opera with its laughter – the central message about seizing life with a passion comes through loud and clear  ‘..the golden years love story casts a bewitching spell” – Variety

Casting needs:
  • One male who looks age 70 to 80
  • Two Females who can look age 70's
  • One 18 to 30 year old male who can sing opera. This role is one that sings with just a little stage action and no lines. The play includes six short selections from various operas. Singers should have a prepared opera piece to sing a capella for the audition.
Cold readings from the script; bring resume and head shot if possible.
